The Dan Marino Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to improving the lives of children, teens, and adults with autism, will be showcasing April as Autism Awareness & Acceptance Month. Businesses in Fort Lauderdale and Miami will be lighting up their buildings in blue (the international color for autism).  The “Light It Up Blue” global initiative is intended to raise international awareness of autism in support of World Autism Awareness Day held each year on April 2nd and Autism Awareness & Acceptance Month celebrated in the United States every April.

The Dan Marino Foundation and Miami Dolphins FOOTBALL UNITES™ program are hosting a Happy Hour at the Tru Hotel in downtown Fort Lauderdale to celebrate the month of April, Autism Awareness & Acceptance Month.
