This annual gala is held to bring together and honor First Responders who work in all departments throughout Broward County’s more than 30 municipalities. One First Responder will be recognized from each city and an overall Valor Award will be presented to one outstanding person representing the entire county. Proceeds from this event benefit the Broward Sheriff’s Advisory Council (BSAC), a charitable organization that supports the families of First Responders who have been disabled or killed in the line of duty.  BSAC also helps to fund tactical and safety equipment, technology and training, wellness programs and community outreach.  For more information https://sheriffsadvisorycouncil.com/
