Guests are invited to join co-chairs Marie and Leo Hansen and Sandy and Bob Moss at the Annual Pineapple Jam on Friday, April 15, 2016 at 6 p.m. at the Historic Stranahan House Museum, located at 335 S.E. 6th Avenue in Fort Lauderdale.

Hosted by Katharine and Scott Moss, Pineapple Jam offers house tours, a cocktail reception and a silent auction beginning at 6 p.m. followed by dinner and a live auction at 7:30 p.m. This year’s nautical theme compliments the waterfront vistas under the stars and the view of the statuesque Stranahan House, the oldest surviving structure in Broward County.

“My family and I are very excited to participate in our third consecutive Pineapple Jam,” said Moss & Associates Chairman and CEO Bob Moss, founding family sponsor of the event. “It’s important to acknowledge the legacy of Frank and Ivy Stranahan and preserve their home, which served as the starting point of Fort Lauderdale in 1901 and has withstood the ever-changing landscape of our city over the past 115 years.”

During the cocktail reception, guests will have the opportunity to bid on silent auction items including a 30-person private wine and cheese reception at the House, airline tickets, staycations, restaurant certificates, sporting events, and a bountiful wine basket created by the Stranahan House Board of Directors.

After dinner, a live auction will be held by Bob Moss and well-known auctioneer Gordon Latz. Guests will be able to bid on premier auction items including a boat trip with Bob Moss on the SandBob, an original Marilyn Johansen painting, a yacht trip on the Sea Owl with Hugh McCauley and more.

“This is the event of the season for the Stranahan House,” said Executive Director April Kirk of the Historic Stranahan House Museum. “Funds raised from Pineapple Jam sustain the House’s education and preservation programs all year long. For this reason and more, we are beyond grateful to our sponsors and guests whose participation continues the legacy of this remarkable home.”

In addition to Moss & Associates, Aon Risk Solutions, L&R Structural and The Related Group have generously pledged Founding Family Sponsorships to the event.  The Las Olas Company is providing complimentary self-parking and reduced rate valet parking for all guests.

Golden Trader Sponsors include Crowe Horwath, GM&P Consulting and Glazing, Go-Tilt, Power Design, RIVA, TrippScott and Wells Fargo.
