On May 11, 2019, the African American Research Library and Cultural Center (AARLCC) will be hosting its first Annual AARLCC-CON: Comic & Sci-Fi Convention.

AARLCC-CON will provide a platform for African-American writers and illustrators of comic books and Sci-Fi novels to share ideas, present their latest works, and develop relationships with both local and national industry professionals.

In conjunction with the AARLCC-CON, an exhibition of Superhero inspired artwork will be held at the African American Research Library and Cultural Center. The exhibition opens Saturday, May 4th, 2019 at 11:30am, and will be on display every day from open to close through May 31st.
