All are invited on Thanksgiving morning to run, walk or jog in the 6th Annual Turkey Trot. The route for the race follows Fort Lauderdale Beach along A1A in a USA Track & Field sanctioned 5k. The event will benefit two local community organizations; the iTRACE Foundation, Inc. a preventative health & wellness research foundation, and the Leadership Broward Foundation, Inc. committed to inspiring community service and leadership development.
Registration for the event can be done on-line or in person at one of the packet pickup locations or on-site on race day.
In addition to participating in the race, guests are encouraged to bring canned goods to benefit Feeding South Florida, a hunger relief organization serving Broward, Palm Beach, Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties.
Registration ranges from $20 – $35 and Kid’s Dash is $5
