An incredible six act 60s rock ‘n roll revival comes to the Parker on Saturday, October 26 at 7:00 pm starring The Brooklyn Bridge. Bridge hits include “The Worst that Could Happen (#3 hit), “Blessed is the Rain,” ”Sixteen Candles,” “The Angels Listened In,” and “You’ll Never Walk Alone.”
The Happenings, featuring original lead singer Bob Miranda, perfected their “sunshine pop style” in four gold records: “See You in September,” “I Got Rhythm,” “Go Away Little Girl,” and “My Mammy.” Their “Proud to be an American” tribute to veterans will bring down the house.
Charlie Thomas ’Drifters were the first Afro-American group inducted into the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame. Combining doo wop, soul, R&B and pop, their countless hits include “Save the Last Dance for Me,” “This Magic Moment,” “Under the Boardwalk,” and “On Broadway.”
Brian Hyland was 16 when his “Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini” hit #1 on the charts, and he was an instant teen idol, touring with Dick Clark’s Caravan of Stars. Other hits are “Sealed with a Kiss” and “Gypsy Woman.”
Two of the younger generation of artists who are dedicated to keeping the great music of the 60s alive are also performing: Vinnie Medugno (as heard on WABC and WCBS radio in New York City) and Las Vegas performer E’stefano DiSanto.
Six great acts, one great night of countless hits bringing the audience back to wonderful memories of their lives in the unforgettable 60s!
