Impact Broward, Inc. will be hosting our 5th Annual Bogey for the Cause Celebrity Golf Event at the Lago Mar Country Club on May 2, 2016. The event will support our mission “to impact and enrich our community by engaging individuals through service to meet critical needs of children, adults, veterans and nonprofits in Broward County.” Golfers with a giving spirit are challenged to play 18 holes of golf during this fun-filled day of competition.

Registration for the event begins from noon to 12:45 p.m. and Tee-off starts at 1:00 p.m. A boxed lunch will be provided to all golfers. The day concludes with a celebratory cocktail reception for golfers and supporters at the Club-house. Raffles and prizes will be distributed during the cocktail reception. There are many sponsorship opportunities available. We are also accepting raffle prize donations which will be utilized as raffle/silent auction prizes during the cocktail reception.

Since 1965, Impact Broward has been the premier volunteer service agency in Broward County for adults 55 years of age and older who fulfill community needs and simultaneously remain active and healthy. We accomplish this by tutoring and mentoring children; by providing support and companionship to frail elderly and adults with disabilities; and by placing volunteers with nonprofit organizations where their skills and experience enhance the capacity of services to our community. Last year 738 volunteers provided over 266,199 hours of service impacting our community.

This event will help support these vital services that affect so many individuals in Broward County. Your donation will create excitement for our guests and make this event a financial success.
