To kick off Heart Health Month in February, Broward Health Medical Center will host the 2nd Annual Africk Family Foundation Spin-a-thon, complete with a Kids Zone, Massage and Stretch Zone, silent auction, food and more. The main event, the Spin-a-thon, is a 4-hour, peer to peer, fundraising event where 50 teams on 50 spin bikes will ride and keep their bikes going non-stop from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 9th, 2019. This high energy and fun-filled afternoon will raise money to support Broward Health’s Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Program at Broward Health Medical Center located in downtown Fort Lauderdale. Our nationally certified program provides care to over 800 patients yearly who have undergone a cardiovascular or pulmonary event.
