Enjoy a day of dancing, music and costumes celebrating the 10th Annual Asian-Pacific American Heritage Month at MODS on Saturday, May 8 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Take a class in the visual dance form of hula, experience the thrill of fire dancers, learn the delicate process of lei making and get your creative juices flowing at our make-and-take Polynesian arts and crafts stations.
• Cultural Demonstrations Include:
o Live Music: Hawaii/Tahiti/Samoa
o Featured Performances by Polynesian Proud
o Live Polynesian Drumming
o Samoan Fire Knife Dance
• Masks are mandatory for all guests over the age of 2, including those who have received a COVID-19 vaccine, and all are required to follow our Healthy Choices Make Healthy Scientists protocols to ensure a safe experience.
