The Nova Singers will celebrate love, peace, hope and dreams in their upcoming concert series “A Choral Fantasy.”
The program will include works from a variety of contemporary composers, from Eric Whitacre to Andre J. Thomas to John Rutter to The Beatles. Expect love songs, folk songs, spirituals and more music that evokes the importance of peace, hope and love.
The chorus, under the direction of Chuck Stanley, will be accompanied by pianist Anthony Ciotti and other instrumentalists.
The concert will be performed three times, in three different venues:
- Friday, March 14, 8 p.m. Sunshine Cathedral, 1480 SW Ninth Ave., Fort Lauderdale 33315.
- Sunday, March 16, 4 p.m. First Presbyterian Church, 2331 NE 26th Ave., Pompano Beach 33062.
- Tuesday, March 18, 7:30 p.m. Christ Church United Methodist, 4845 NE 25th Ave., Fort Lauderdale 33308.
Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Children 12 and younger, plus students of any age with school ID, are admitted free. Advance tickets are available at https://tinyurl.com/NovaMarch25
The Nova Singers is Nova Southeastern University’s community chorus, whose members range from Nova undergraduate students to senior members of the local community.
