After the Welcome Reception ends at 7:30 pm, guests will join authors for memorable dinners in exclusive settings. These are lively gatherings for lovers of books and the written word.
Literary Feast’s roots date back to 1984 when Betty Lou Rose Ellis and a team of fellow volunteers produced the first fundraising social event, “Le Bal Masque de la Bibliotheque.” In 1988, the team paired nationally recognized authors with intimate dinners in private homes, creating the first Literary Feast. Today, more than two dozen individuals continue the tradition, hosting Literary Feast authors and guests in homes and upscale restaurants.
