Jack & Jill Center and the Salvation Army of Fort Lauderdale have teamed up to ensure the children in the community have a safe and fun Halloween.
To celebrate Spooky Season, the nonprofit organizations will host Trunk-or-Treat with the theme “Superheroes and Storybooks” at the Salvation Army on Tuesday, Oct. 24, 5–7 p.m. Trunk-or-Treaters of all ages are welcome to dress up as their favorite Disney, Marvel, DC, Fairy Tale Superhero or Storybook Character and trick-or-treat from various Halloween-decorated car trunks. The family-friendly event is free and open to the public.
The organizations are still accepting vehicles to participate as the decorated “trunks” as well as peanut-free “treat” donations. Event sponsorships and underwriting opportunities are now available. Sponsorships range from $250 to $2,500.
