Led for nearly 40 years by co-founders and charismatic frontman Vicentico and bassist/backing vocalist Sr. Flavio, Los Fabulosos Cadillacs emerged from Argentina to become a renowned global collective whose singular, ever-evolving sound was rooted in innovative fusions of ska, reggae, samba, rock, pop and salsa.
The band’s groundbreaking array of albums – hailed by critics and fans alike – has boasted collaborations with international icons, such as Celia Cruz, Debbie Harry Mick Jones and Rubén Blades, the latter of whom was featured on Fabulosas Calavera, which earned them a GRAMMY® Award in 1998 in the Best Rock/Alternative Performance category. Los Fabulosos Cadillacs was the first Argentine and Spanish-speaking group to participate in the popular MTV Unplugged series.
