Freedom Waters Foundation will host a Water Safety Family Fun Day in association with the Winterfest Foundation in Fort Lauderdale on March 26, 2023. 

The event will take place between 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Esplanade Park in Fort Lauderdale and will provide families with fun water safety activities, games, and complimentary boat rides. Freedom Waters Foundation is offering this event for free and will additionally have food vendors, crafts, and music for families to enjoy. 

Working with local partners in the area, including the Coast Guard and other first responders, families will have the opportunity to meet those that serve their community every day. Freedom Waters Foundation representatives will also be at the event, spreading their mission and enhancing the lives of children and veterans. The non-profit regularly provides complimentary therapeutic boat rides to children with special needs and veterans. These rides help relieve these participants of their daily obstacles and allow them peace and tranquility.
