All Saints Episcopal Church in Fort Lauderdale and Ballyhoo Media are excited to announce the launch of Floating Films by Starlight, a FREE monthly outdoor movie night experience for the whole community to enjoy beginning Saturday, October 22, 2022.
Families, friends, and movie-goers alike will have the opportunity to enjoy watching family-friendly outdoor movies displayed on 60-foot floating screens.
Gates will open at 5:45 p.m. on each date. Attendees will be able to mingle and enjoy special surprise activities before the movies officially begin at 7:00 p.m. Popcorn, candy, ice cream novelties, and soft drinks will be available for purchase. Facepainting and games will also be available. Attendees are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chair for viewing.
The Princess and the Frog – Hardworking and ambitious, Tiana (Anika Noni Rose) dreams of one day opening the finest restaurant in New Orleans. Her dream takes a slight detour when she meets Prince Naveen (Bruno Campos), who has been turned into an amphibian by evil Dr. Facilier. Mistaking her for a princess and hoping to break the spell, Naveen plants a kiss on poor Tiana — thereby turning her into a frog as well. The pair hop along on an adventure through the bayous to seek the help of a powerful voodoo priestess.
