Raised in a spiritual family of creatives, Elaina is locally known to recite poetry and the Word of God before and after belting out popular song stanzas in spoken word performances all over the Tri-County area. Elaina released her first spoken word album titled PURPOSE on September 16, 2016 at the Hollywood Hard Rock Hotel inside of the Piano Bar located in Davie, Florida. Three years later in 2019, she released #CLEARVOLUME, her second poetry album.

In addition to being the ultimate girl mom and millennial progressive wife, Elaina is LIVE poetry in motion. She is an inspiration to ladies, to young kings and to the next generation. Elaina the Poet Bringz the Jazz will feature jazzy artists like Lavie, The Keenan Experience, Reesy and Elexis. All hosted by South Florida native Crystal Chanel, the M.O.C., please expect comedic and informative commentary related to Jill Scott, jazz pop culture and Broward County Black music history.
