THE AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION (AHA) IN PARTNERSHIP WITH CITY FURNITURE (CITY), INVITES YOU TO JOIN THE 2022 ANNUAL BROWARD HEART WALK

· This annual event brings together thousands of walk participants, volunteers, and sponsors to support the fight against cardiovascular disease and stroke, celebrate heart disease survivors, and to honor those who have lost their battle to the disease.

· Join Andrew Koenig, CEO of CITY and Chair of the 2022 Broward Heart Walk, along with Basketball Star and NBA Hall-of-famer, Alonzo Mourning, as they kick-off the 3-mile walk in support of heart-health research, helping everyone live longer and be healthier.

· Enjoy a morning of social connection, physical activity, and community building as you help raise funds that will benefit the American Heart Association’s mission of building healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.

§ GET MOVING: It has never been a better time to find new ways to boost physical and emotional health. Joining the Heart Walk is a fantastic way to socially connect and get moving – all while making a significant impact in the community and saving lives.

§ SAVE LIVES: When you register, you are helping save more babies and kids who have congenital heart defects, train thousands in life-saving CPR, fund groundbreaking brain and heart research and champion health equity for all.

§ WALK ANYWHERE: This year, attendees can Heart Walk Here, there, or anywhere! Walk participants are invited to walk at the in-person event or wherever they feel inspired. No matter the location, participating and donating to the Heart Walk will save lives and improve lives.

· Can’t make the walk, but want to help? CITY invites customers to “Test Rest” a mattress in any one of its showrooms and for each “test” taken from now through the end of March, CITY will donate $25 to AHA, plus reward customers with a $25 gift card.

COVID-19 protocols will be in place for all attendees. Vaccinated attendees will have the option of choosing whether to wear a mask, while those who are unvaccinated will need to wear a mask.
