ChildNet’s Annual “Care for Kids” event will be held Cocktail Style this year on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at the Lauderdale Yacht Club in Fort Lauderdale. The cocktail event, which is sponsored by Boies, Schiller, Flexner LLP and presented by Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital is an opportunity for the Broward County community to rally behind ChildNet, Broward County’s Community-Based Care lead agency that protects abused, abandoned and neglected children in the community, and show support for children in foster care.

On April 9, 2022, ChildNet will be celebrating 20 years of service in Broward County and guests will enjoy drinks and appetizers while bidding on their favorite silent auction items. In honor of a 10-year commitment to ChildNet, Sigrid McCawley, Managing Partner at Boies Schiller Flexner, LLP will be honored as the 2022 Care for Kids Honoree for her hard work and ongoing support of ChildNet and the children they serve.

By supporting this event, you join hundreds of stakeholders who make ChildNet possible. Most of ChildNet’s budget is restricted to specific priorities. The funds raised from the “Care for Kids” event will provide ChildNet the flexibility to prioritize the needs of our children youth, and caregivers and take advantage of arising opportunities and react to unforeseen challenges.
