During October’s National Women’s Small Business Month, women business owners with big dreams are invited to register to attend BankUnited’s inaugural “Small Business, Big Dreams” Women in Business Summit, scheduled for Wednesday, October 27, 2021, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Ritz Carlton Fort Lauderdale, 1 North Fort Lauderdale Beach Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The full-day summit features keynote presentations from Miami Marlins Vice President of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Racquel “Rocky” Egusquiza and Leadercast’s Molly Fletcher. The highlight of the event will be the culmination of BankUnited’s inaugural small business pitch contest, when four finalists will compete live before a panel of judges for a $10,000 small business grant to be awarded at the conclusion of the event. Attendees will also have opportunities to network and get tips from women business leaders including RCC Associates CEO & Chairwoman Beverly Raphael-Altman, Amazon Web Services Office of CISO Principal Merrit Baer, and Sunshine Gas Distributors Vice President Sandra Reus.
