Celebrate the Arts Community of Greater Fort Lauderdale during the monthly Sistrunk Marketplace & Brewery ArtWalk featuring artist Dorvilier Oliver on Saturday, September 25.

· Sistrunk Marketplace & Brewery ArtWalk will be held on Saturday, September 25; an event to showcase local artists and art displays, specialty cocktails, dining options, live music and hands-on activities including “Paint the Pint”.

· The Art Show will take place at the Rum Bar Lounge inside Sistrunk Marketplace & Brewery and will feature specialty cocktails highlighting each artist of the month.

· During the month of September, art created by featured artist Dorvilier Oliver will be displayed.

· Dorvilier Oliver is a self-taught visual artist based in South Florida and his work has been displayed in major cities including Miami, New York, DC, Baltimore and Atlanta. Through his art you will see an influence of beauty, emotion, wisdom, and uplifting visuals.

· Dorvilier’s work has captured the attention of people all around the world prompting them to become avid fans and collectors. Not only a visual creative but also a leader, forming a social group with the core aspiration of self-belief. It can be said that he truly lives within the world of his creation.

· An intimate 30-minute performance by R&B artist Kimosabe will happen that evening to complement Dorvilier’s chic art evening.

· Registered guests can Meet & Greet with Oliver whose pieces of customized art will be displayed and available for purchase.

· Additionally, Sistrunk Marketplace has launched a “Global Mural” project on the exterior of their building and each month during SMArtWalk, they will showcase a LIVE painting by an artist of choice.

· The purpose of this mural is to bring the community together through the arts. The mural will be constantly revolving not only by expressing Sistrunk Marketplace & Brewery’s love for the arts but also expressing love for the planet.

· Arty Van Gogh Bus “Paint the Pint” will be available to attendees in the parking lot. All materials, paints and supplies will be provided for guests to create and design their own pint glass for $10. All proceeds benefit Art Reaching Today’s Youth, Inc. (“ARTY”) which was established in 2016 for the means of providing visual art classes to the underserved children of Broward County.
