Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival, Twilight Features, and Epic Outdoor Cinema and Marando Farms & Ranch give you a taste of Ireland for St. Patrick’s Day. This fun, farm-to-fork dinner and event features the movie, Wild Mountain Thyme, from John Patrick Shanley who created the classic film, Moonstruck. Set against the breath-taking landscapes of rural Ireland, the “mad-cap love story” stars Emily Blunt, Jamie Dornan, Jon Hamm and Christopher Walken.
The evening begins at 6:00pm with a complimentary green beer upon your arrival at Marando Farms & Ranch. You’ll have time to explore the grounds and enjoy a Garden Walk and Talk before the dinner and movie begins. Chef Sabrina Farmer will prepare a buffet-style Irish feast featuring a salad made with local greens, Corned beef and cabbage with boiled or roasted baby potatoes or Vegan Irish stew featuring farm-fresh vegetables and hearty potatoes. For desert enjoy apple crumble with warm vanilla custard; a non-dairy vanilla custard will be substituted for vegans. A cash bar will be available, serving a variety of beer, wine, and mixed drinks.
