Lewis, who is best known as the lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist and founding member of the alternative metal band Staind, has also enjoyed a successful solo career in country music.

A Grammy nominated and multi-platinum artist, Lewis made his country debut in 2011 with the certified gold single “Country Boy.” The song featured such country music notables as Charlie Daniels, George Jones and Chris Young.

Following the release of “Country Boy,” Lewis put out his first full length solo album, “The Road.” Its debut single, “Endless Summer,” also made the country charts.

A Massachusetts native, Lewis wrote songs for his second album (released in 2016) while touring in support of “The Road.” The album, “Sinner,” was mostly recorded in a single 18-hour session with many tracks done in one take. His daughter, Zoe, provided guest vocals on one song.

The lead single off “Sinner” was titled “That Ain’t Country” and county artist Willie Nelson is featured on the album’s title track.
