The 2018-19 Broward Center Classical Series begins with the holiday treat of Disney in Concert: Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas. Burton’s haunting holiday classic is screened as South Florida Symphony Orchestra performs Grammy^® Award-winning composer Danny Elfman’s score. Nominated for an Academy^® Award for best visual effects and a Golden Globe^® winner for Best Original Score, this animated fan favorite follows Jack Skellington, Halloweentown’s pumpkin king, as he accidentally stumbles on Christmastown and plots to bring Christmas under his control by kidnapping Santa Claus and taking over the role.  But Jack soon discovers even the best-laid plans of mice and skeleton men can go seriously awry.
