ChildNet’s Annual Care for Kids Luncheon will be held on Friday, June 22, 2018 at the Hyatt Regency Pier Sixty-Six in Fort Lauderdale. The Luncheon is an opportunity for the Broward County community to rally behind ChildNet, Broward County’s Community-Based Care lead agency that protects abused, abandoned and neglected children in the community, and show support for children in foster care.

During the Luncheon, ChildNet will present the Champion for Children Award to John Benz, CEO of Community Care Plan, for his commitment to making the community a better place for our children.

The Care for Kids Luncheon supports developmental activities and items needed to bring hope to thousands of children in Broward County’s foster care system. From swimming lessons, braces and sports uniforms to college tours and one-on-one tutoring, this support goes beyond basic necessities to help foster children not only succeed but thrive from the moment they enter the foster care system to the moment they leave it.
