Broward College Kicks Off a Month of Environmental Awareness Activities with Agriculture and Science Expo 

WHAT: With Earth Day and Arbor Day recognized nationally in April, Broward College welcomes the community to the the first annual Agriculture and Science Expo.

Organized by the Broward College Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) programs, this unique event will bring together exhibitors from a number of environmental organizations to display innovation and new technology. The fair-like atmosphere will offer food and products for sale, and comes complete with a kids’ play area which will feature a petting zoo and games.

WHEN: Saturday, April 8, 9:00 a.m-2:30 p.m.

WHERE: Building 19, Patio, A. Hugh Adams Central Campus, 3501 SW Davie Road, Davie, FL 33314

PRICE: Free and open to the public.  

ADDT’L INFO: The Agriculture and Science expo is being funded as part of a grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF) to foster outreach to the community and help enhance public understanding of environmental and agricultural science. Read more about the NSF grant here.
