LaudyPOP is putting the Fort Lauderdale culinary and arts scene on display. The first-ever event appealing to both art aficionados and foodies features an innovative combination of art, culture, food and libations. Set to debut on March 10th from 7p.m. until 11p.m. at Hugh Taylor Birch State Park (3109 E. Sunrise Blvd.), LaudyPOP will showcase displays of local art, interactive performances and live music. The event will also give guests an opportunity to explore the natural beauty of Fort Lauderdale’s Hugh Taylor Birch State Park.

“We were inspired to develop an event that would flaunt Fort Lauderdale’s rising cultural and culinary scene in Birch State Park’s appropriately fun and whimsical setting,” said Danny Dapuzzo, founder of LaudyPOP. “We wanted to highlight the area’s hidden gems and give recognition to our local talent.”

LaudyPOP, will feature local restaurants highlighting their cuisine through food samples creatively served on “pop”sicle-like sticks or skewers for an easy grab-and-go experience. Guests will indulge in everything from appetizers and savory seafood to decadently sweet desserts including cake pops. Featured libations of the night will include handcrafted cocktails, bubbly prosecco, and locally-brewed craft beer.

LaudyPop will take guests beyond the culinary tastes to a flavor of Fort Lauderdale’s emerging art scene and diverse culture, loved by locals and tourists alike.  Roving fully immersive experiences will be demonstrated at the event through musical performances from local DJs, live painting, art installations and more. Performances will take place intermittently during the event, surprising guests with intriguing entertainment, elaborately costumed performers, stilt walkers and other unique entertainment to make guests’ imaginations “pop.”

Event sponsors include SunTrust Private Wealth Management, Sailor Jerry, Flor de Cana, Drambuie, Aperol and Campari. Participating breweries include Funky Buddha, Khoffner and Concerte Beach. Featured artists include Todd The Painter, Joshua Oliveira, Lauren Georgia  and participation from ArtServe.  Local restaurants will include tastes from local hotspots Ocean 2000 located in The Pelican Grand Resort as well as new hidden establishments like Park & Ocean, with many more to be named in the coming weeks.
