United Way of Broward County’s MISSION UNITED will hold a free VA Home ownership Event for Broward County veterans on Saturday, June 11th. Veterans will be given an in-depth look at the steps involved in purchasing a home from working with a real estate agent to understanding the loan and credit requirements that come with home ownership. The event will also provide information about special VA loans that veterans may qualify for.
Topics that will be covered at the event include: VA loans, down-payments, closing costs, loan myths, inspections, credit underwriting and credit repair, insurance, legal issues and selecting and working with a real estate agent.
