Volunteers are the life-blood of any non-profit organization, and Riverwalk’s dedicated group of volunteers draws from our membership, our Board of Directors and residents who join together in making an impact for Riverwalk, all while having a fun time! While most of our regular volunteer opportunities involve working at Riverwalk events, Riverwalk is open to utilizing our volunteers wherever their skills or passions may lie. Riverwalk will evaluate all volunteers based on their skills and our needs before accepting for any duties. Volunteer opportunities include:
Event Volunteer Opportunities
- Checking in people at Riverwalk’s public events
- Providing general information at Riverwalk’s public events
- Staffing Riverwalk’s tents at public events
- Set-up and break-down at public events
Other Volunteer Opportunities
- General photography
- Writing in Go Riverwalk Magazine, Fort Lauderdale’s City Magazine
- General administrative/clerical work
- Research and writing for grants
- Social media/content creation
- Community outreach
