Each year, Women of Vision benefits Young At Art programs for at-risk youth in the community such as Girls N’ Power, an innovative partnership with Young At Art, PACE Center for Girls and the Girls’ Club, an alternative art gallery in Fort Lauderdale. This year’s theme is “YAA 2010! Our Groundbreaking Year!” as the museum begins the countdown to breaking ground for the new 55,000 square-foot LEED-certified museum and children’s reading center in Davie that will transform the South Florida cultural landscape and create a model for museums nationwide.
